Kristina Anapau is known for her dramatic roles, but delivers the same depth of character through her comedy. On the HBO hit series, TRUE BLOOD, she was enchanting as Maurella. In Darren Aronofsky’s BLACK SWAN she was ferocious as Galina alongside Oscar-Winner, Natalie Portman. In ThinkFilm’s SELF-MEDICATED (winner of over 35 International film awards) her portrayal as Nicole, alongside Golden Globe winner, Diane Venora, was described as "raw and riveting".

Anapau also starred with Christina Ricci and Jesse Eisenberg in DimensionFilm’s thriller CURSED, directed by Wes Craven. She shined as Cassidy Merteuil in SonyPictures NewmarketFilms release of CRUEL INTENTIONS 3. She starred in Lionsgate’s SEAL PATROL, ALTERGEIST, 5 SOULS, and THE SPEAK.  Kristina also appeared in the MGM film MADISON, starring Jim Caviezel and Bruce Dern; and Lionsgate’s 100 GIRLS.

 

Anapau's film, MAUI, won the Audience Award during its premiere at Maui Film Festival 2017, the Audience Award at the San Antonio Film Festival 2017, the Grand Jury Prize at The Tribal Film Fest 2017, and the Audience Choice Award at The Santa Cruz Film Festival 2017. Kristina also executive produced the film.

Anapau voiced several of the characters the Disney hit MOANA, which went on to gross over $600 million worldwide.

Kristina is the co-creator and executive producer of The John Kerwin Kids' Show, aka "The Tonight Show For Kids," which has just wrapped up it's 1st season, and currently airs nationwide on DirecTV.

 

Her other TV credits include: CSI:NY, GENERAL HOSPITAL, ANGER MANAGEMENT, GRIMM, THE GLADES, HOUSE, MONK, WITHOUT A TRACE, KNIGHT RIDER, ONCE & AGAIN. Anapau also starred opposite comedian, Dane Cook, in the SonyTelevision produced pilot, COOKED.

 

Kristina has been contributing editorial writer for THE STANDARD MAGAZINE, THE HOLLYWOOD FILM JOURNAL, and MODERN LUXURY.  She invented and developed the successful fashion product COLOR IT NEW, selling the company in 2017.  Anapau is a graduate of Skidmore College in New York and currently lives in Los Angeles.
